"We have continued to operate throughout the pandemic. As essential workers, we have been conducting wellness calls, meeting community members by appointment only for social services assistance, and providing care packages and emergency cash assistance. We also continue to carry out our social justice campaigns, civic engagement work, youth fellowship program, arts & culture events, and other organizational activities remotely and online." - MEKONG NYC, 2021
HIGHLIGHTED LOCATIONS

SAPNA NYC
Sapna NYC serves low-income South Asian immigrant women. The women we serve are diverse in background, with varying education levels, age, culture, religion, and beliefs. However, as new immigrants they have many of the same struggles of learning a new culture, navigating a new city, and understanding new systems. As such, many of the women in our community are isolated andfind it very difficult to find linguistically accessible and culturally competent information from sources they trust.

MEKONG NYC
Mekong NYC is a social justice organization that brings dignity and value to the lives of Southeast Asians in the Bronx and throughout New York City. We do this through community organizing and movement-building, centering healing through arts and culture, and creating a strong safety net rooted in community power.

EMERALD ISLE IMMIGRATION CENTER
The Emerald Isle Immigration Center (EIIC) is a not for profit entity created to exercise and protect the privileges and interests of the community; to foster a healthy interest in the civic affairs of the community, to help immigrants acquire US citizenship, and to inquire into civic abuses and seek reformation thereof.
